when I start the game I get 2 errors:
1- Addon 'ace_c_men_gear' requires addon 'ace_sys_ruck"
2- bin\config.bin/CfgWeapons.ACE_ParachuteRoundPack

My ACE box is yellow, I resync and update again and still yellow. In the message box I have several errors that all loook like this

Definitely give Sickboy the log over at dev-heaven. My guess is there some permissions problem when the updater is going to unpack the compressed version of the mod files -- sadly, that is not something I have seen before.

Hey Dodger,

I remember having some issues with that same file when packing it up. Please wait until I update ACE again today (in a couple hours or so).
Anyone else got issues like that updating since last week or so ?

Repo updated with latest ACE. Servers updated.

Please check notes about ACE userconfig changes: http://ace.dev-heaven.net/wagn/ACE_1_9_Update_1
You can simply run ACE Clippi from @ACE\clippi to apply the needed change.

If you are talking about the @ACE folder I did have trouble getting it to update two days ago. I had to restart SU several times and @ACE finally turned green. In the process of updating today.

Edit: Finished updating. All green.

ace_sys_aitalk.pbo.gz is currently missing from the AS custom repo.

Hey Rob I'm pullling an all nighter tonight, so if possible I would like to get your help with SU. I'll be monitoring TS after 10:00pm pst. If your awake at 6:00 am your time , check TS. I could really use your expertease.

Small update, cleaned up a few addons from TASCAC that were buggy, redundant or causing performance to drop too much.

Also a note about the sound mods allowed: TASCAC_SM is replaced by TASMX_SM which requires ACEX_SM and SOA_ACE.
So for sounds it's up to the player to use:
1. ACEX_SM
2. SOA_ACE
3. ACEX_SM + SOA_ACE + TASMX_SM (recommended)
4. none of the above

Sounds nice Robalo (pun intended).

However, I can not seem to coax SU to actually download TASMX_SM. It shows up as grey/disabled on the left hand side, but it is not marked as disabled in the custom repo tab. Everything else seems correct, but it will not download.

Yep, was able to repro that on a server. Filed: http://dev-heaven.net/issues/18233
As a temp workaround, I've added the sound mods to the required mods list.
